Classical table games
In casinos, the term table game is used to refer to games such as blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat. These are played at a table and are operated by one or more live dealers such as a croupier or poker dealer. The term is important as some jurisdictions allow casinos to only have slot machines and no table games. In some states in the United States, this law has resulted in casinos hosting electronic table games such as roulette, blackjack, and craps.
